sporadic post (reason for not posting, lol)

We were so happy to receive this little guy the day before Christmas Eve 🙂 It has been an incredible joy to watch him grow over the last 7 weeks. We are uncertain how long we will get to snuggle and care for this little one but we do know that we are much in love with him and count every minute we get to spend with him as a blessing. Here is a sneak peek 🙂

Jello Play dough

Oh how I wish I was a dedicated blogger! I regret to say that our blog has taken a back seat to other things but I do hope to get here at least once or twice per week in fact I commit to get here at least once per week! Anyway I have lots to tell you as some pretty exciting things happened over the holidays, but for now I want to share the best play dough recipe I have found here. It feels good, smells good, and looks awesome! I hope you’ll be inspired to try it 🙂

Jello Play Dough

  • white flour – 1 cup
  • salt – 2 tbsp
  • cream of tartar – 2 tbsp
  • cooking oil – 2 tbsp
  • warm water – 1 cup
  • Jello – 1 3oz pack

  • Add all the ingredients together in a big mixing bowl
  • Mix all the ingredients together until consistent
  • Pour into a pan and stir continuously
  • Wait for it to thicken into a big ball and then place it on a piece of wax paper to cool
  • Kneed it for a few minutes once cooled with some flour
  • Add any food coloring or glitter to spice things up!

One Community to Another

Hi All!
This is the first post I have made on this blog since, pretty much ever 🙂 A couple of weeks ago Mom and I were flipping through the “World Vision Gift Catalog” we had just received in the mail. We came upon a page were you could pay for a well to be dug in a third world country. This well costs 15,000 dollars. I have canvassed Redwood Meadows and recieved $232 A good friend of ours, Rebecca also donated $250 This idea is also being forwarded to my Dad’s office in Guelph so that his co-workers can have the chance to help. I am wondering now if any of my friends back in Guelph would like to support this organization? We still have a long way to go but I am hoping it is still possible 🙂 If you would like to donate please email me at onecommunitytoanother@gmail.com and from there I can forward you where you can give the money online. Prayers would also be greatly appreciated! I miss you all more then I can write here 🙂
Love and Hugs,
Cassidy ❤
